Topical treatment and options such as botulinum toxin may be planned when suitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before treatment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mention newly generalized or night-time sweating, medicines and other symptoms. If Botox is planned, avoid irritating the area and discuss when to shave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">After treatment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the first day after Botox, do not rub the area and avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and very hot showers. Advice on deodorant and other products depends on the site.
