Diagnosis and treatment
We diagnose, treat and follow excessive sweating. Assessment considers its location, onset and daily impact. Topical treatment and options such as botulinum toxin may be planned when suitable.
Before treatment
Mention newly generalized or night-time sweating, medicines and other symptoms. If Botox is planned, avoid irritating the area and discuss when to shave.
After treatment
On the first day after Botox, do not rub the area and avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and very hot showers. Advice on deodorant and other products depends on the site. Response is assessed at review.
