Overview
Hair loss is not a single disease. Diffuse shedding, localized patches and processes that cause scarring of the scalp can have different causes. The type of hair loss needs to be identified before treatment begins.
The examination process
The onset and course of hair loss, family history, recent illnesses, nutrition, medications and scalp findings are assessed. Tests are requested according to the examination findings, rather than as the same standard panel for everyone.
Treatment approach
We diagnose and treat hair loss. Depending on the type, treatment may include topical or oral medicines. PRP and scalp mesotherapy may also be considered as supporting procedures in selected patients. Scalp examination guides the method, ingredients and treatment intervals.

Are vitamins needed for every case of hair loss?
No. The need for supplements is assessed through the medical history and tests when indicated.
Are scalp pain or redness important?
